Auto Camera Scan

Introducing the upcoming new enhancement to Cupix Capture Lite's functionality: the 'Auto Camera Scan' feature. With this update, the app will automatically compile a comprehensive list of available cameras nearby. This convenient new feature aims to eliminate the need for users to navigate their phone's Wi-Fi settings to locate and connect with their 360° camera. It will streamline camera registration and simplify your approach to jobsite documentation using CupixWorks, requiring just about 1 tap to get started. In this guide, we'll walk you through how to use this new feature.

Check List

Before you dive into this enhanced feature, here are some key points to ensure a seamless experience:

  • Verify that your camera is powered on and your phone's Location, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi are activated.
  • Supported camera models:
    • Insta360: ONE X2, ONE RS 1-inch, Sphere, ONE X3, ONE RS
    • Ricoh: Theta Z1 (Please note that 3D Dollhouse is not supported)
  • Please note that this feature is exclusively available on the Cupix Capture Lite App and is not accessible through the Cupix Capture Pro App.
