It's been over a year since we first launched SiteInsights beta program. We've seen SiteInsights grow rapidly and have been working hard to expand its capabilities. Today, we're pleased to announce the major update of SiteInsights 2.0! With this latest update, we're getting closer to the end of the beta. You can now get quick, actionable insights with our newly updated progress dashboard, schedule data integration, and more custom tracking options.

New Interactive Dashboard

See all your progress tracking highlights without having to sift through long schedule tables. Charts show the total installed work, work that is behind schedule, the timeline of installation versus the scheduled plan, & show performance for each vendor. Each chart is interactive, so select a chart to visualize the metrics highlighted in the BIM viewer. Change filters to update chart data and BIM visualization. Download progress report sheet that highlights filtered objects.

Neural 3D Engine

SiteInsights Neural 3D Engine can extract powerful information from your 360 videos. We can create 3D point clouds from videos, which SiteInsights uses to detect installation. We can also identify different types of materials used for updating status, eg: wood formwork, concrete, foam insulation, & paint.

Now you can integrate schedules with SiteInsights progress tracking!

You can now import schedules from Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project to your CupixWorks SiteInsights enabled projects. We support .XER, & .XML schedule files. You can even export SiteInsights data to update your schedule or company dashboard with field confirmed installation statuses.

Create and track progress of vendors

To help monitor vendor performance across your project, you can now filter by subcontractors with a new Group type called 'Vendor.' In addition to tracking volume and percentage of all completed work for a project, you can now track volume and percentage per subcontractor as 'Vendor.' In Account Settings you can create groups, toggle the Vendor button in a group to register it for SiteInsights tracking.

Customize your progress tracking with Status Templates

CupixWorks SiteInsights offers advanced tracking technology with detailed customization. The new version of Status Templates allows you to customize how SiteInsights tracks and updates each type of installation. Do you want basic tracking for floors installation, but track very specific steps for walls? Status Templates can customize different status’s for each step in the construction process. SiteInsights can track progress using point clouds or 360 images as the input. SiteInsights can use AI image detection to identify different material types for each step. For example we can identify metal studs, drywall, and then paint using the 360 images.

Now you can view live Matterport models from within CupixWorks, along with all your project plans, BIM models, and Cupix progress captures.

This integration is currently only available in beta and must activated by your CSM.

GPS Localization is now used to improve the positioning of all recordings in the capture app. When active, a GPS icon will be displayed in the top left screen.

• If the GPS signal  is active then the starting & ending positions of every video will be marked.
• Projects with Geocoordinates enabled will be able to use in-app GPS for all captures.
• Projects with Geocoordinates disabled can utilize GPS on a recording if they select “Live Map” instead of a reference plan, switching between Satellite and Map view.
• App now supports the Insta360 X3 camera.

It's the spooky season of the year, and our product team has been releasing new features at a frightening pace. In this month's update, we've rolled out incredibly easy-to-use features, including schedule data import and more.

SiteInsights - Schedule Integration with Progress Tracking

In a massive leap for tracking progress on your projects, you can now import & link your  Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project schedules. Each tracked installed object can be linked to your schedule so you can see planned vs actual completed work. Export SiteInsights data to update the status in scheduling software. 

High Resolution Point Cloud Rendering

Point clouds now display better on the web browser with the rendering limit increased from 3 million to 10 million points per frame.

Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Integration

Whether you use BIM360 or ACC you can now integrate with CupixWorks projects to import models and create RFI's, Punchlists, and Observations.

More Security Customization

For Azure Active Directory users, you can now configure approved sign-in methods for each user group in your account.

Capture App

To improve workflows of recording data in the field we now enable: 1) faster downloads of plans to mobile devices, 2) allow different users to record the data and then upload it, 3) use GPS to improve positioning while recording outdoors.

Schedule Integrations

You can now import schedules from Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project to your CupixWorks SightInsights enabled projects.

• Import .XER, .XML schedule files.
• Manually link schedule activity IDs to BIM objects to track installation progress against the forecasted dates.
• If BIM includes Activity IDs, then the BIM & Schedule activities will be automatically linked to each other.
• After initial configuration, when you import an new version of the schedule we will detect changes and update the Task name, Start, & End Date for all affected BIM objects. 
• Export SightInsights data to update your schedule or company dashboard with field confirmed installation statuses.

CupixWorks SightInsights now combines field verified installation data with your scheduling software!

What’s New

• Project Template download speed has been improved.
• The app displays the capture date and time when there are multiple captures with the same date.
• You can now filter projects on the History screen.

For Azure SSO users, you can now customize the login methods for your account.

You can create different user groups and choose whether they have access to only standard email sign-in or only Azure Active Directory sign-in, or allow both methods.

These options are currently managed by CSMs, so please alert your CSM to customize your sign-in configuration for your account.

In the past, a user that created a capture with the Capture App had to be the same user to upload image files with the Connect App. Now one user can capture, while a different user uploads the image files, so long as both belong to the project.

Finally! Leverage your Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) activities from your CupixWorks SiteView environment! Import your Autodesk Build BIM models, connect issue tracking, and add SiteView Card to its corresponding project to reduce rework and readily manage site issues.
