We are excited to announce the release of Cupix Capture Lite for the Android users. This app offers a simplified and intuitive jobsite documentation experience, including only the essential features for capturing. The "Lite" label signifies the streamlined nature of the app's capturing process, which can further enhance your workflow efficiency beyond the current Cupix Capture App.
🎙️ Documenting a site with 360 video is already fast with Cupix. Now with voice notes, you can talk to dictate notes during your 360 video walk making site documentation even faster.
During a video walk, press and hold the microphone button to record a note. Each voice note will be uploaded to SiteView as an annotation and will be attached to the location where you started the voice note. In SiteView you can listen to the audio or read the transcript of the voice note.
Easily create notes of installation, quality, or safety issues while you walk around a site with voice notes.
GPS Localization is now used to improve the positioning of all recordings in the capture app. When active, a GPS icon will be displayed in the top left screen.
What’s New
In the past, a user that created a capture with the Capture App had to be the same user to upload image files with the Connect App. Now one user can capture, while a different user uploads the image files, so long as both belong to the project.
Get “Project Plans Available” alerts when a new reference plan, level, or annotation form is added or changed in a project. Use the simplified capture/ upload options to update your project plans.
We updated the Capture mode icons for video, single-shot, and cluster-shot!
We have unified the term and renamed the “Capture Data Upload” to “Sync Capture.”
Instruction after “Sync Capture” is updated. Once the sync is completed, connect your camera to the Connect App to upload pano files.
We now support onboard pano stitching for the latest Ricoh firmware — Theta Z1 (2.1.3 version) and Theta X (all versions).
Get even better image quality with the newly added Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition in the Capture App! With dual 1-inch sensors and 6K 360 video resolution, you’ll get sharp definitions even under low-light conditions.
